— The simple system

Three steps. That's it.

No hoops, no hidden fees, no subscriptions. Choose your account, set your plan, pay once — then start trading.

  1. 01

    Choose your account size

Pick your size — $10K to $1M. One-time fee, from $36.00. That is all you ever pay.

  2. 02

    Choose your plan

Trade our limits (7.5% max loss / 10% target) or slide your own numbers. Locked at signup.

  3. 03

    Trade and get funded

Pay once, trade the locked plan with no time limit, hit your target with a valid sample — and get funded.

— Getting funded

How to become a funded trader

You become a funded trader by passing one evaluation on a simulated account, then trading the same rules on a funded account and keeping a share of the profit. There is no interview and no capital to deposit — the fee is paid once, and the result is decided entirely by your trading.

  1. Choose your account size and model. Accounts run from $10,000 to $1,000,000, and you pick one-step or two-step before you pay. The model does not change the limits — it changes how many phases you pass to be funded.
  2. Pay once and trade the locked plan. A 10% profit target against a 7.5% maximum loss (the $1M account carries 5.0%), a 2.5% daily loss limit, and no time limit on reaching the target. The plan is locked at purchase, so it cannot move underneath you.
  3. Hit the target with a valid sample. A minimum of five trading days, and no more than 50% of the profit made in any single day. The consistency rule is a pass gate, not a breach — it decides whether the pass counts, never whether the account survives.
  4. Get funded, then get paid. An 80% profit split rising to 90%, paid weekly — with payouts requestable from the first week funded, not the first month.

The full limit set, in percentages and dollars for every account size, is in the rules section below. Nothing about it is discretionary.

Pick the way you start — the standard stays the same. Same limits, same split, same broker on every account, with one exception: the $1M account carries a 5.0% max loss.

Two-step: clear 10% in phase one, then a further 5% in phase two. The same limits apply in both phases — max loss and daily loss are re-armed when phase two begins. Limits are enforced automatically by our risk engine and match the numbers issued with your account — a $100,000 account is $100,000 in every market, only the fee changes. The $1M account is the one exception on limits: its max loss is 5.0%, not 7.5%.

— Pricing

How much does a funded account cost?

$36.00 for a $10,000 evaluation, up to $3,465.00 for $1,000,000. It is a one-time fee — there is no subscription, no monthly cost while you trade the evaluation, and no further fee once you are funded.

What the fee covers

  • One evaluation account at the size you choose
  • No time limit to reach the profit target
  • No monthly or renewal charge while you trade
  • No further fee once you are funded
  • Trading on MetaTrader 5 through Pepperstone

What it does not cover

  • Nothing else — there are no add-ons to buy
  • A failed evaluation is not refunded; you buy a new one at the normal price
  • A longer evaluation does not cost more — the fee is fixed at purchase

Choosing the one-step model costs 20% more than the two-step at the same account size — $43.20 for $10,000. The two-step is the standard: a 10% target, then a further 5%, and the drawdown floor re-bases on the advance.

— One-step or two-step

One-step prop firm challenge, or two-step?

A one-step prop firm challenge (also called a one-phase challenge) is a single phase: one 10% profit target, one 7.5% maximum drawdown, and the account is funded. A two-step splits it into 10% then a further 5%. Same account, same limits, same broker either way — the one-step simply asks you to prove it in one pass, which is why it costs 20% more.

One-step and two-step fees by account size

Account sizeOne-step feeTwo-step fee
$10,000$43.20$36.00
$25,000$102.00$85.00
$50,000$204.00$170.00
$100,000$384.00$320.00
$250,000$1,039.50$866.25
$1,000,000$4,158.00$3,465.00

Choose one-step if

  • You want the fastest route to a funded account
  • Your worst drawdowns are well inside 7.5%
  • You can hold a single high-stakes stage without over-sizing

Choose two-step if

  • You would rather not risk the whole evaluation on one stage
  • Your strategy swings 6–8% and needs room to recover
  • You want the lower fee of the two

Every account carries the same rules — 2.5% daily loss, 7.5% maximum loss, 5 minimum trading days, no time limit, and a profit split that rises from 80% to 90% — with one exception: the $1M account carries a 5.0% maximum loss. Neither model is the “real” one — the difference is how much you want in a single stage. The full one-step vs two-step comparison works through which structure a given set of numbers survives.

— Account sizes

Which funded account size should you choose?

Start with the smallest size you could fail without it changing how you trade. A $25,000 evaluation is $85.00 and a $100,000 is $320.00 — the fee barely moves between them, but the dollar swing on every 1% of risk does. That swing is what decides whether you trade your plan or your emotions.

$10,000 funded account

$36.00

The lowest entry point. Best for a first evaluation, or for proving a strategy you have not traded live yet.

$25,000 funded account

$85.00

The first size where the dollar swings feel real. A common starting point for a trader with a written plan.

$50,000 funded account

$170.00

The middle of the ladder. The same percentage limits as every other size, with more dollars behind each one.

$100,000 funded account

$320.00

For a trader with a documented sample and a consistent process. A 1% risk per trade is $1,000 here.

$250,000 funded account

$866.25

For a proven edge with history behind it — not a size to learn on.

$1,000,000 funded account

$3,465.00

The largest account we sell. A deep, verifiable track record is the entry requirement in practice.

Every size carries the same percentage limits and the same 80%–90% profit split. Picking a bigger account does not improve your odds — it only changes the dollars attached to the same percentage. Trade the size your discipline already justifies.

— Trading objectives

The rules are simple.

Eleven limits, in plain English. Every one is shown as a percentage and a dollar figure, so you always know where you stand.

  1. 1

    Maximum daily loss

    2.5%

Your equity must not drop below the daily loss limit at any point during a trading day (00:00–23:59 server time). This includes realised and unrealised losses.

  2. 2

    Maximum total drawdown

    7.5% (5.0% on $1M)

Your equity must never fall below the maximum drawdown threshold. The floor is set at 92.5% of your starting balance and locks there permanently — it does not trail down as you lose. The $1M account is the one exception: its floor is set at 95%, giving a 5.0% maximum loss.

  3. 3

    Maximum open position risk

    2.5%

The combined risk of all open positions must not exceed the limit at any time — measured as stop-loss distance × volume, netted per symbol. First occurrence is a written warning; the second ends the evaluation.

  4. 4

    Stop loss required

    Every position

Every position must carry a stop loss from the moment it opens — no exceptions, no grace period. A position you close that never carried a stop loss at all is an immediate breach: we review your completed trades as well as your open ones. If a position is open without one you get a single warning — understand exactly what that means: any profit made on that position is void, and any loss on it counts against you. Add a stop loss or close the position. A second occurrence ends the evaluation.

  5. 5

    Profit target

    10%

Reach the profit target while staying within every risk parameter. There is no time limit — trade at your own pace.

  6. 6

    Minimum trading days

    5 days

Trade on at least 5 different days so your result reflects consistent skill rather than one lucky session.

  7. 7

    No time limit

    Unlimited

There is no maximum time limit to complete the evaluation. We are not trying to rush you into blowing the account.

  8. 8

    Prohibited practices

    Disqualifying

Latency arbitrage, quote stuffing, market manipulation, HFT strategies, copy trading between accounts, using multiple accounts to circumvent risk limits, hedging between related accounts, and insider trading.

  9. 9

    Funded account rules

    Same plan

Pass and your funded account is set up on the exact plan you declared — same max loss, daily loss, profit target, risk per trade and risk/reward. No profit target once funded. Minimum 5 trading days between payout requests.

  10. 10

    News trading

    Limited

Traders are NOT allowed to execute any new trade or close an existing trade on an instrument directly impacted by the news release in the window of 2 minutes before until 2 minutes after the release of the following news announcements: CPI, Employment or Central Bank Rate decisions. To clarify, we define executing a trade as opening or closing either a pending order (including stop loss or a take profit) or market execution in the simulated trading environment. You are allowed to hold your trade(s) on the targeted instrument(s) that were opened more than 2 minutes before the restricted news event. Be reminded that if your Stop Loss or Take Profit is activated/filled during the restricted time window of 2 minutes before until 2 minutes after, it may be taken as a violation of the T4T Account Agreement. Other non-targeted instruments can be traded normally. E.g., you can trade EURGBP or AUDNZD during the US – NFP release. However, you should not open or close USDJPY or GBPUSD during the window of 2 minutes before to 2 minutes after the NFP release.

  11. 11

    Consistency rule

    50%

No single trading day may account for more than 50% of your total profit. If one day carries more than half of the profit you have made, your result does not qualify for funding — however good the balance looks. It is not a breach and it does not end the evaluation: keep trading and spread your performance across your days, and you qualify the moment no single day is above 50%.

What the limits mean in dollars

Account sizeDaily loss limit (2.5%)Max loss limit (7.5% · 5.0% on the $1M)Profit target (10%)
$10,000$250$750$1,000
$25,000$625$1,875$2,500
$50,000$1,250$3,750$5,000
$100,000$2,500$7,500$10,000
$250,000$6,250$18,750$25,000
$1,000,000$25,000$50,000$100,000

Figures are notional — a $100,000 evaluation account is $100,000 in every market. Rules are enforced automatically by our risk engine and match the limits applied to your account. Breaching a limit ends the evaluation — to keep trading you buy a new evaluation at the normal price. Every purchase earns reward points.

— Payouts

— Who we are for

Built for serious traders. Not gamblers.

Every firm tests your risk tolerance. We test your trading. If this sounds like you, read on — if it does not, this is not the evaluation for you, and that is the point.

This is for you if…

  • You have a trading approach — even a rough one — and want to prove it works
  • You think in terms of edge, consistency and long-term performance
  • You are ready to be measured on skill, not just survive a risk test
  • You want the rules written down before you trade, not after

This is NOT for you if…

  • You are hoping to gamble your way to a target in one lucky session
  • You have no plan and do not want to be held to one
  • You expect to pass without demonstrating any real edge
  • You see a loss limit as a trap rather than the thing that keeps you in the game

— What you are buying

The evaluation, and what comes with it.

Bought on its own, this is an evaluation account — not the toolset and not the mentoring. We would rather you knew that now than found out later.

Included

  • Your evaluation account and MetaTrader 5 platform access
  • The Trader Dashboard and full journaling suite, unlocked on the free plan
  • Trade Hub, economic calendar, interest rate tracker and calculators
  • No time limit on reaching the target

— FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

Everything you need to know about the funding evaluation. Still stuck? Support is one email away.

How does the funding evaluation work?

Trade the standard plan — 7.5% maximum loss limit, 10% profit target — or choose your own profit target, where your max loss limit is automatically 75% of it. Pay a one-time fee, trade the locked plan with no time limit, and hit your target with a valid sample. You then receive a funded account.

What is a one-step prop firm challenge?

One-step is a single phase: one 10% profit target against the same 7.5% maximum loss limit, and the account is funded when you hit it. Two-step splits the evaluation into a 10% first target and a further 5% second stage. Same account, same limits, same broker and the same 80%–90% profit split — the only difference is how many phases you pass, which is why the one-step costs 20% more at the same account size.

How much does it cost to get funded?

Accounts start at $36.00 for a $10,000 evaluation. Sizes run to $1,000,000. It is a one-time fee — there is no subscription and no monthly cost while you trade the evaluation, and no further fee once you are funded.

Is there a time limit on the evaluation?

No. There is no maximum time limit to reach the profit target — take as long as you need. The only clock is a 30-day inactivity rule: if you do not trade for 30 consecutive days the account is closed. One trade every 30 days keeps it active.

What happens after I pass?

You receive a funded account set up on the exact same plan you declared — same max loss limit, daily loss, profit target, risk per trade and risk/reward ratio. You keep 80% of profits, rising to 90% as you demonstrate consistency, with no additional fees. Payouts are processed every week.

How do payouts work?

Every funded trader can request a payout every week, from the first week funded. The minimum request is $50 and there is no maximum — withdraw all available profits at once or in increments. Profits are calculated on realised trades only, and a minimum of 5 trading days must be completed before the first request.

Will my funded account have the same rules as my evaluation plan?

Yes — and that is the point. The plan you sign is the plan you trade. Your declaration is hash-locked when you start so the numbers cannot drift, and your funded account is issued on those exact limits. If you set no plan, the standard limits apply: 2.5% daily loss, 7.5% max drawdown, no profit target once funded.

Can I use Expert Advisors or trade the news?

Expert Advisors, algorithms and manual trading are all allowed. News trading is restricted rather than banned — you may not open or close a trade on an instrument affected by a CPI, Employment or central bank rate decision from 2 minutes before until 2 minutes after the release (see Rule 10). What is prohibited is latency arbitrage, high-frequency trading, copy trading, hedging between related accounts, and using multiple accounts to circumvent risk limits.

What instruments and platform do you support?

Forex pairs, indices and commodities, traded on MetaTrader 5 through Pepperstone. Leverage is 20:1 across all instruments.

Do I need a stop loss on every trade?

Yes. Every position must carry a stop loss from the moment it opens — there are no exceptions and no grace period. If you have no stop loss you get one warning, and any profit made on that position is void while any loss on it counts against you. Add a stop loss or close the position. A second occurrence ends the evaluation.

What happens if I breach a limit?

Breaching a daily or maximum loss limit ends the evaluation. To keep trading you buy a new evaluation at the normal price. Limits are enforced automatically by our risk engine, and the numbers in your account always match the rules published here.

Who can join?

Traders from anywhere. There are no nationality, location or background restrictions — as long as you are of legal age in your jurisdiction you can apply.

Is Traders4Traders regulated?

Traders4Traders is a proprietary trading firm providing simulated evaluation programmes. We are not a broker and we do not give financial advice. Trading involves risk and past performance does not guarantee future results.

Which funded account size should I start with?

Start with the smallest size you could fail without it changing how you trade. Accounts run from $36.00 at $10,000 up to $1,000,000, and every size carries the same percentage limits — so a bigger account does not improve your odds, it only moves more dollars on the same percentage. Move up once you have a documented sample, not before.

What currency are the fees charged in?

The fee is displayed and charged in your local currency, and for Australian visitors that is Australian dollars. There is no conversion applied at checkout — the number you are shown on the account-size cards is the number your card is charged.

★★★★★

I joined T4T before the pandemic and have been trading with them ever since. Hands down the most insightful and informative trading program out there. Brad and his team do a great job of imparting their decades of professional, bank-level trading experience and distilling their methods for easy use by the individual trader. More than anything else, the capital management protocol is probably the most important thing to glean from the program. It has taught me how to trade profitably while staying in the game for the long term. I can't recommend T4T enough!

I've been with T4T for a few years now and Brad and the team do not stop trying to help you become a successful trader. There are hours of educational videos, trading tools and signals so you can trade regardless of your full time job. T4T's engaging and respectful community ensures you're never trading alone. 100% definitely recommend.

If you're serious about mastering forex trading, look no further. Brad doesn't just teach you how to trade — he rewires how you think about the markets. His training is hands-down the best in the world: clear, actionable, and relentlessly focused on real-world results.

Finally a complete program — from fundamentals to daily trade execution. The curriculum builds a solid understanding of macroeconomic relationships and provides a clear framework to interpret central bank policies, economic indicators and intermarket dynamics. The emphasis on developing structured trade ideas and reviewing them daily is invaluable for building confidence and discipline.
